Queer Mtn. School

Our most popular program is back again! January through June LGBTQ young people can hike, climb and paddle their hearts out!

Youth Expedition

In 2015 OTA went sea kayaking. In 2016 we went surfing and hiking. In 2017 we backpacked through the North Cascades. 

2018's expedition will be based in the Wenatchee National Forest for 5 days of whitewater rafting, rock climbing and hiking.

Summit Mentorship

"It's hard to be what you can't see." An idea we've hear d and said time and time again. Through our SUMMIT Mentorship program, OTA offers LGBTQ youth the opportunity to connect with an LGBTQ adult* while exploring the natural world. Over two months the mentors and students will meet each week to embark on a number of exciting adventures. No cost to participate and no experience necessary for the youth.
